Happy 1 year anniversary to Bonny and David! We wanted to share with you their classic Los Angeles wedding and story with you. Their sweet story told by the groom, David.

Your Proposal Story:

We had talked about getting married for some time so she knew a proposal was coming which made it a little difficult. To add even more pressure, joking or not, she said I better give her a fireworks show! Luckily, we had a tripped planned to go watch the Perseid meteor shower down in Julian, CA and I figured since I couldn't put on a fireworks show, hopefully a meteor shower would suffice. It wasn't exactly ideal since we were with a group of friends but I couldn't pass up the chance for at least a natural fireworks show.

Your Wedding Day:

The day was a little frantic with prepping, family, and photos but looking back at everything afterwards, it was so much fun we wanted to do it again! Neither of us are the type to crave the spotlight and being the center of attention was a bit overwhelming but it was also very humbling to realize everyone was there taking the time to join us and celebrate our big day. One of my friends gave us the best advice - make sure to take time to soak everything in since the night would be such a blur. It felt like the entire day went by in an instant so I'm glad Bonny and I made sure to take a couple of moments to slow down and just enjoy it since it'll truly be a night we'll never forget.

Married Life:

Married life is awesome! I wouldn't say too much has changed other than the whole "till death do you part" thing. Seriously though, every relationship will have its ups and downs but its great knowing that you have someone to build a future with and a partner to navigate life with... to share the good times and to help each other get through the bad.
