Sunday Funday Pop Up Shop

Have you ever been to a place that not only exceeded your expectations, but also brought those same expectations to a whole other level? A place where your design imagination is able to run wild with ideas that you never thought could be made into reality? Well, for the Skybox Event Productions team, that place is none other than the West Elm store in Los Angeles. Last summer we were elated to team up with them for a second year in hosting a Sunday Funday Pop-Up Shop. We collaborated with various local vendors, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the huge turnout.
When shoppers walked into West Elm, they were greeted with a colorful mimosa bar and an assortment of delectable sweets from Simply Brigadeiro. The owner, Sabrina, tickled our taste buds with flavors like crème brulee, milk chocolate with chocolate sprinkles, dark chocolate with black and white crunch, and dark chocolate mousse with shavings of passion fruit on top. After they had their fill of guilty pleasures, guests followed their noses to the middle of store where beautiful floral arrangements were designed by LoveAnneJoy. There, attendees were able to create their own vibrant floral bouquets with the help of florist Pam and Viv.
In front of the floral station was a cute display of jewelry made by Mint and Arrow Designs. All of the creative pieces are made for kids and women. If looking for something in particular Kelley or Dana were happy to assist in making your idea come to life. As shoppers walked towards the back of the store, they were greeted by the friendly faces from Morning Lavender Boutique, featuring everything from mini clutch wallets to sun hats and pretty floral dresses. If you needed a last minute accessory to match your outfit it was readily available.
Just as guests thought their day couldn’t get any better, they met the charming couple of Happily Ever Etched, Jenny and Charles. They are the masterminds behind this company. They are able to do custom etching and laser cutting for any gift you have in mind. Not only do they offer an awesome gift boutique for any occasion, but they also offer workshops and events at their studio in the city of Buena Park, California. They had a beautiful array of etched champagne flutes, mirrors, mugs, and laser cut cake toppers. We can’t wait to make an order with them for Christmas presents and birthdays!
Five hours didn’t seem like enough time to mingle with all the vendors and see what they all had to offer, but that’s all the time we had. We’re looking forward to our next collaboration so please stay tuned and follow us on Instagram so you can also join in on the festivities!
