Bridal Show Crash Course

Bridal Show Crash Course

“Let’s Get Married”…a bridal social event from Alumiq Productions.

We had a wonderful time coordinating the Bridal Event “Let’s Get Married”  last Thursday at S Fine Dining in Westminster. Our newest member of the Skybox team, Andria Edgett was able to expereince her first brial event and this is what she learned.

Advice from Andria: “As someone brand new to the world of wedding planning, I can sympathize with the soon-to-be brides and grooms who feel overwhelmed with all the decisions that go into making their special day perfect. At our bridal show, I was alongside over 250 future brides, grooms, and their loved ones as they made friends with many of the preferred vendors and browsed what they had to offer. I learned a lot during my crash course of an evening that can help couples figure out where to start”…

1. DO shop around and test out make-up artists before you choose. The ladies from both Muse Make-Up Artistry and the All Made Up Team gave free makeovers all night and made everyone who visited their booths look amazing.

2. DO NOT hesitate to meet with a vendor even if your significant other can’t come with you. You can’t go wrong by getting an idea of what’s out there!

3. DO consider a floating wedding cake. The folks over at Final Touch Bakery had a beautiful sample cake suspended from the ceiling that turned heads all night.

4. DO NOT underestimate what a good band can do for your event. The sweet melodies of Song Bird set the tone for our evening and kept the guests upbeat all night.
