We were delighted to discover that Celeb Life Magazine wanted to share our client’s story. Their sweet tale started in Las Vegas and ended at the Four Season Hotel.
Los Angeles attorney Halleh Rabizadeh met her husband Maziar Yafeh at the upscale Tryst nightclub in Las Vegas. It would seem that Maziar, an investment banker, was destined to meet Halleh. A mutual friend had tried to play matchmaker and set them up years earlier, while they were in college. The would-be matchmaker had said they would be perfect for each other, and that friend was right. “It never happened and we never met,” Halleh recounts, “but we ended up meeting on our own three years later at Tryst. When Maz figured out that I was the same girl his friend had told him about years ago, we were both amazed.”
They held their wedding ceremony and reception at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, California. Halleh was dressed exquisitely in a gown from Mon Amie Bridal Salon in Costa Mesa, and the bridesmaids all kept true to Persian tradition, wearing dresses of their own choosing. The ceremony took place at the waterfall lawn, with the chuppah and flower arrangements designed to fit in with the natural surroundings. The arrangements featured Phalaenopsis orchids and roses complemented by branches and standing trees. The entire wedding ceremony was elegantly decorated in ivory and champagne tones with gold accents. Amber lighting and candles perfectly enhanced the romantic atmosphere in the ballroom, where a full 14-piece band and a solo violinist played a variety of Persian, Israeli, Arabic and American music. Diversity also presented itself in the food selection, where appetizers ranged from sushi to Persian to carving. Fruit and tea stations in the ballroom provided the guests with refreshments between dances. The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Thailand. They are both 28 years old and live in Los Angeles.
