May 13 The VENUE Grand Opening

The VENUE in Huntington Beach, California is not your typical, run-of-the-mill event space. The VENUE “celebrates individualism. Just like every couple, corporate VP or coordinator is different, every event should be unique and custom-tailored to taste. The 11,000 square-foot space serves as a blank canvas for your imagination. It features a state-of-the art AV system, full-service kitchen and knowledgeable staff. The modern décor is just as striking untouched as it is with your added design elements”.

When it was time for Owner, Cat Chu (of Three Petals fame) to throw a grand opening party, she contact the best…us! Cat wanted to showcase her modern and sophisticated venue with a party to match! Planning began in early March, and we knew what we wanted to showcase from the second we stepped in the construction zone. With high vaulted ceilings, and plans for a Living Wall, Cat and I both knew the party needed to complement, not compete, with the space itself.

Knowing that this party was going to be BIG, we pooled our resources and pulled together a team of A-List Vendors to help showcase this amazing space.

To help set the mood, Chiavari Chair Rentals & Baker Party Rentals were both there to showcase their plethora of lounge furniture, tables, and chairs. High Colorful Dance Floors provided a crazy-cool custom dance floor, and Platinum Peaks lit up the space all night! All signage, paper goods, and step-and-repeat were created by the talented Pressed Pollen. And to make sure that each guest got there on time, Good Carma Valet was on hand to lend their fabulous services!

The entertainment factor for this party was off the charts! Scott Cummings Music & DJZ Productions both put on a show that kept party-goers dancing all night long! MUSE Make Up Artistry was also on hand to provide some major glamour in the shape of an Eyelash bar. Guests were also greeted with a photo from Sutando photo booths and an angelic performance from Song Bird Trio.

Food and treats were in no short supply at the VENUE Grand Opening. Haute Productions served some tasty treats at each food station that included a Slider Bar, cheese display, live-action pasta station, along with passed appetizers like traditional Vietnamese Egg Rolls, Asparagus Seafood Shooters, and Lamb Chops!
