Skybox Event Productions is featured in Fall 2009 issue of The Bride and Bloom. We put together a modern, rustic table spread desirable for any environmentally conscious couple. The “go-green” inspired décor brought the modern outside world together with old time rustic feel. From the earthy and lightweight khaki runner accented with shantung lime green, to the natural fabric of the napkins, the linens stepped up the old rustic thoughts to a new modern sophistication. The place cards and menus were all made with recycled paper and recyclable ink to highlight the elegance in eco-friendly products. Along with the linens and paper goods, the floral spread combined kumquat branches, grapes, artichokes, roses, walnuts, dalais, and more, to produce an updated natural centerpiece that can be eaten and enjoyed afterwards. This is the perfect setting for any wedding looking to help the environment without losing style.
The desire for couples to have a more environmentally friendly weddings has become common place and there are many ways to achieve a “green” event. In addition to the all of the ideas incorporated into our table design, there are many resources that couples can use to find ways of making their event “green.” For example, you can have event supplies recycled with “Event Leftovers,” The online marketplace to buy and sell new and gently used party supplies. We have resources to companies that has specialized eco-content, on food, flowers, and planning. We could create a prefect a event with the environment in mind.
Our lovely table designs were captured by Studio EMP.
