Hot Air Balloon Ride
May we always be kids playing dress up.
This is a short story about two little kids on an adventure.
Albert and Ngoc sat under a tree as they day dreamed about the adventures in Albert’s book. “I have an idea!” exclaimed Ngoc, “Let’s go on a hot air balloon ride like in your book!” Albert looked up squeamishly “We’re both scared of heights…But we should do it anyways!” It’ll be our very own adventure.”
They packed up their blanket and started to walk towards the balloon fields. They stopped for a moment to admire the balloon filled sky while they both remember how nervous they were to fly.
The time finally came…their balloon inflated and it was time for them to go up, up, and away. Albert handed over their ticket and they both hopped in hung on for dear life.

“Are you gonna look? asked Ngoc. ”Are YOU gonna look?” asked Albert. The two sat for a moment and Albert leaned over and whispered to Ngoc, ”We’ll do it together…”. With that the two stood up and looked over the edge of the basket just to realize what they have been missing…
The beauty of the world was in front of them! It was at that moment they both realized that together, they can overcome anything – even one of their greatest fears.
